User Group Meeting 2020-2

EMPIC organized the second virtual user group meeting for this year during the week of 9 – 13 November 2020 as an online event. Only some staff from EMPIC were present physically and kept at a distance (see picture). We counted about 60 to 80 online participants during the different sessions.
 
The topics were:

• 09 Nov 2020: Modules Type Certificates and Aircraft Register
• 10 Nov 2020: EMPIC Day: News, Highlights of EAP 2020R2, Roadmap of future releases, ICAO General Declaration, mobileSL, Cyber Security, checklist re-design, finding register, RPBO, user experience sessions and usability
• 11 Nov 2020: Query Synthesizer, Module Organisation Approval and Surveillance (OAS) and Surveillance Layer
• 12 Nov 2020: Module OAS and Risk- / Performance-Based Oversight
• 13 Nov 2020: document handling // UAS (Drones) and EASA broker, EMPIC APIs

All sessions were discussed / documented in the EMPIC knowledge database and recorded in addition. EMPIC community members can download the videos via the EMPIC cloud.
 
We all thank our clients very much for the valuable input and my thanks go as well to my colleagues for the preparation and execution of another very successful user group meeting.
