User-Meeting 2023-2

Our user group meeting week is successfully finished and in the end we escorted our guests back to the airport. EMPIC welcomed guests from CAAs and MAAs in Europe, Thailand and Australia. We took care of 35 participants physically present in Erlangen and in addition we had up to 80 participants virtually in various sessions.
 
FOCA, CAA of Switzerland, presented a success story about EMPIC workflow tool, now integrating into the screens of OAS module and Surveillance Layer with automation possibilities (the workflow tool updates/generates data in the backend system).
Further topics of the meetings have been Drone/RPAS APIs, Type Certificates and Aircraft Register, Organization Approval and Surveillance, UX, Occurrence Reporting, EMPIC roadmap, Volker’s tech talk, etc.
 
All clients appreciated a lot the chance to talk with their colleagues from other aviation regulators using EMPIC-EAP and the possibility to establish new connections.
 
Next user group meeting is scheduled for: 22 to 28 April 2024.
