Successful EMPIC Implementation at CAA New Zealand
EMPIC is proud to announce the successful implementation of EMPIC-EAP® at the Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand (CAA NZ). After 2.5 years of dedicated effort, CAA NZ has fully transitioned to our integrated aviation safety oversight system, allowing them to decommission their legacy system by the end of 2024
In February 2025, our CEO, Joerg K. Kottenbrink, visited CAA NZ’s headquarters in Wellington to celebrate this milestone. A key moment of the visit was the signing of the Certificate of Satisfactory Performance by Mike Hill, Deputy Chief Executive Aviation Security and Infrastructure, who led the implementation project. Additionally, meeting CIO Claire Mistry and her digital team, who played a pivotal role in this transformation, highlighted the collaboration and dedication that made this project a success.
This achievement underscores the efficiency, flexibility, and reliability of EMPIC-EAP®, reinforcing our commitment to supporting aviation regulators worldwide. We look forward to continuing our partnership with CAA NZ to further optimize and expand the system’s capabilities.
Congratulations to the entire CAA NZ team on this successful digital transformation!
