EMPIC at the 10th AFI Aviation Week 2025 in Zimbabwe

EMPIC was very proud to participate in the 10th AFI Aviation Week, held from May 26–30, 2025 in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe—a key event hosted by ICAO for the African aviation leaders to advance Africa’s air transport sector.
 
Under the theme “Maintaining Momentum through Mutual Support and Regional Cooperation,” discussions focused on the enhancement of the work of the aviation sector in Africa, the promotion of ICAO’s “No Country Left Behind” initiative, and strategies for enhancing safety oversight and sustainability across the continent.
 
EMPIC CEO Jörg Kottenbrink engaged with high-level stakeholders, reaffirming EMPIC’s role as a trusted partner in aviation safety, regulatory excellence, and digital transformation.
 
“We are honored to support ICAO’s vision for Africa and beyond,” said Kottenbrink. “Our mission is to equip civil aviation authorities with configurable, future-ready tools.”
